Cecelia Livingston – Your Growth Coach

I’m a Corporate America veteran. Within the same corporation, I held 15 different roles over the course of 22 years, each being more challenging than the last. I enjoyed the learning, the new people and opportunities that each one brought me. I started in an entry level job and, over the years, became a supervisor, manager, and director. The types of work were vast including operations, customer service, vendor management, process improvement, project management, finance/affordability, training, and quality.

It was the job that supported my family for decades and it did it well. My family (husband Jason, sons Connor & Isaac, daughter Darby) has complex medical needs and, besides the salary and insurance, the company provided me the flexibility to be available to them as was needed. I was the foundation upon which everything sat. I did all the things for all the people, at home and at work, trying to balance the competing priorities 24/7/365.

Then came the time when my brain and body said, “Nope, you’re done.” Burnout hit me hard. It was the one of the most difficult and yet eye-opening journeys. A journey of discovery and forgiveness, one of acceptance and boundaries. It was not only a discovery of self… but also that into coaching. Burnout can be so isolating. I needed to let others know, “YOU’RE NOT ALONE!! You can survive and overcome it. I know because I’ve done it. I don’t have all of the answers, but I’d love to create a safe space for you to discover yours.”

I became a Master Certified Life Coach focused on helping professional women overcome burnout. As in my own case, it wasn’t just ONE thing that caused burnout. It was LIFE. Work, family, finances, world events, unfulfilled needs and dreams… they all are a part of our stories.

After a few years of being a Life Coach, I needed to make a change. While my passion for coaching continued, I had more to offer… my decades of business experience were not being used! I also was missing some of the structure that a corporate environment offered. I began my search for a partner that could help me grow my coaching practice while guiding me with guardrails to ensure I was successful. That’s how I found Growth Coach.

My family and I live in the Twin Ports (Duluth, MN/Superior, WI) and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. We believe in sharing with others the things that have enhanced our own lives and so we regularly engage in volunteer work.
