Being a business owner can be challenging and all-consuming, but it also can be extremely rewarding. I’m Joe Brenneman, the local owner of The Growth Coach of South Orange County, and I opened this business because I am passionate about helping business owners reach their personal and professional goals.

Before becoming a professional business and sales coach, I climbed the corporate ladder in major media companies from advertising sales to senior vice president of sales and marketing to chief revenue officer. I studied journalism as an undergrad and earned my MBA with an emphasis in marketing early in my career as I was starting my family. When I started in advertising sales, I realized I truly enjoyed working with small business owners. In many cases, in addition to helping owners with their marketing needs, I became an informal mentor and sounding board. Throughout my career in the news media world, my leadership roles included Advertising Director, Vice President of Advertising, General Manager, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Senior Vice President of Advertising, and Chief Revenue Officer. I’ve always enjoyed helping people meet their goals so, when I left the news world, I decided my next step would be to do something that enabled me to coach and teach while helping people learn more about themselves and reach their goals. That’s how I found The Growth Coach.

The Growth Coach of South Orange County is a locally owned and operated business, but, on an international level, The Growth Coach is the largest provider of affordable group coaching workshops. Coaches around the world offer group and one-on-one coaching for sales professionals, managers, management teams, self-employed professionals and more. Other services include remote coaching delivered via phone and web, coaching for special projects, business valuation services, sales mapping and more. The Growth Coach of South Orange County serves Mission Viejo, Lake Forest, Laguna, Irvine, San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente, Dana Point, Newport Beach and the surrounding communities.

The Growth Coach has a tried and true system for helping people not only improve their businesses, but also find balance in their lives and meet their personal and professional goals. During my time in the news media, I learned a great deal about budgeting, business planning, people management, training, coaching, operations, marketing, strategic selling, succession planning and more and I’m looking forward to combining my experience with the power of The Growth Coach.

I have a passion for small businesses and for helping businesses be successful, but it’s about more than the numbers.
