I’m Arquella Hargrove, The Growth Coach of Northeast Houston, and I’ve built my reputation on the philosophy of collaboration, accessibility, and resourcefulness. I am a driven HR leader, national speaker and innovative business consultant with more than 25 years of leadership experience. An expert in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and organizational leadership, I’ve successfully coached notable leaders in corporate, government and nonprofit organizations transforming leadership effectiveness, empathy, and education on critical matters of impact within the workplace.

In addition to my work with The Growth Coach, I’m the Chief Engagement Officer for Alchemy Consulting Group. In that role, I have designed and facilitated experiential workshops about leadership development, employee retention, and engagement and emotional intelligence, to name a few.

I was recognized as a top 30 Influential Women in Houston in 2018 and am a published author. I also teach Business Communication at the University of Houston and serve on several non-profit boards. I am also a member of Leadership Houston, the United Way’s Project Blueprint, a certified mediator for the Harris County Dispute Resolution Center and am working on my Ph. D. in organizational leadership.

I launched The Growth Coach it allows me to broaden my expertise and work more closely with small business owners and the philosophy aligns perfectly with my approach.
