I have more than two decades of human resources and leadership expertise and at the center of everything I do is one thing, authenticity. I believe that when people show up as their true selves, that is when real growth begins.

As the Human Resources Director at the  Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, I have spent my career championing organizational culture, employee engagement, talent development, and leadership growth. Holding the SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications, as well as a Certified Business Coach credential from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, I have learned that the best leaders are not the ones with the most credentials. They are the ones who are honest about who they are, where they want to go, and what it is going to take to get there.

My foundation in Psychology from The Ohio State University gave me an early appreciation for human behavior and what drives people. That curiosity has never left me. As a Certified DISC Coach and Facilitator, a Certified Enneagram Coach and Facilitator, and an IDI Qualified Administrator, I use these tools not to put people in a box, but to help them better understand themselves so they can show up more authentically in their work, their relationships, and their leadership.

As the owner of Walton Coaching and Consulting and now as The Growth Coach of Cincinnati North, I bring everything I have learned into the work I do with business owners and leaders in my community. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I believe in sitting across from someone, getting real about where they are, and building something that actually fits their life and their vision.

My approach is straightforward. I meet people where they are, I tell them the truth, and I walk alongside them as they do the hard and rewarding work of growing.
