There is not a business owner alive who could not benefit from greater self awareness, clarity of direction, a focused game plan, and some level of accountability to keep them on track. Everyone could stand to work less, earn more, and enjoy a richer life…more freedom, fulfillment and fun. However, you must come to that conclusion for yourself.

If your score is less than 30, congratulations. It appears you are doing very well – keep it up! While any owner can benefit from an investment in on-going coaching and development, you would have to decide this for yourself. You would be acting out of “inspiration” to get to a higher level, not out of “desperation” to get out of “pain.” Since you don’t “need” coaching, you will have to “want” coaching to make it work.

Or, your very good score may be indicative that you are in denial about certain realities. Only you know the truth. Either way, you will not be able to benefit significantly from a business coaching process unless you truly “want” it or are ready to be “honest” with your self and situation.

Since you are aware of certain areas that must change in your business/life, you must simply have an open mind, challenge some of your current assumptions and approaches, and be ready to go to work “on” your business, “on” yourself, and “on” your life.

If your score is over 60, seek business coaching help immediately. There is no question you can and should benefit from coaching. You are well aware of your reality, issues and challenges. You have enough “pain” that you will be highly motivated to make positive changes. You will be highly coachable and your positive results should be dramatic. However, the longer you procrastinate, the bigger these challenges will become.
