It\u2019s hard to look at what you\u2019ve built and acknowledge that some of the\u00a0things you\u2019ve implemented just aren\u2019t working like they should. However, despite the difficulty, being\u00a0honest with yourself is the only way\u00a0to truly improve.<\/p>\n<p>This week\u2019s blog comes to us from Growth Coach M.E. Reich of SRQ in Sarasota, Florida. Reich joined\u00a0The Growth Coach in early 2014 and, in addition to her coaching experience, has a background in human\u00a0resources and is accredited through the International Coach Federation. She\u2019s also been a small business\u00a0owner herself prior to opening The Growth Coach of SRQ. Here\u2019s a blog she posted in early September\u00a0about dealing with the truth in your business:<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Always Deal with the Truth<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Ever tell yourself lies about your business and personal life to feel better? Ever ignore or deny reality?\u00a0Sure you have! Every small business owner and entrepreneur on occasion tells themselves comforting\u00a0lies and stories to avoid the pain of reality. But be warned, there are real consequences when you turn\u00a0away from the truth.<\/p>\n<p>For you to achieve your desired personal lifestyle and business vision (ideal future), you must be honest\u00a0with yourself. More than anything else, a lack of honesty and clarity about your current situation (the\u00a0good, bad and ugly) will get you in a heap of trouble. Bottom line, you need to be truthful today for a\u00a0better tomorrow.
