For this Growth Coach business coaching blog, I wanted to try something a little different.  I went through several month's worth of my Twitter messages (Tweets) from http://twitter.com/GrowthCoachCorp and selected 99 of them (divided into 3 parts) that I felt could challenge, motivate, educate and benefit business owners, entrepreneurs and professionals.

I did not include any Growth Coach Tweets that had links to other resources or referenced others...just pure text content from me, your virtual business coach.  Since a given Tweet can only be 140 characters long, I used quite a few abbreviations as you will see...most are very intuitive.  Please read these mini-coaching suggestions and select 2-3 that make sense for you and your business to implement.  Hope you enjoy them and that they get you to examine your business and your life.

  1. Business success is a process of discarding...throwing away ineffective mindsets, behavior & habits from your daily routine.
  2. If U think coaching is expensive, try the status quo...doing the same things you've always done & getting the same results.
  3. The mind's #1 goal is protection. Retrain your brain to consider "best case" & "most likely case", not just "worst case".
  4. R U complaining & whining about your challenges? If so, U just prolong them. Shift your focus to SOLUTIONS, not problems.
  5. When at work, work. When at home, be at home. Don't mix the two worlds up...provide undivided attention.
  6. Entrepreneur, "hope" & "wait it out" are horrible biz strategies. Face reality, revise your plan, & take ACTION.
  7. Don't just "expect" results from your EMPs, "inspect what you expect". Manage by #s.
  8. Business owner, U R not a prisoner to your circumstances or conditions, just limiting beliefs. To change, get a new vision.
  9. Business owner, your goal should be to have your EMPs respect U, not necessarily like U. This isn't high school.
  10. Your future will be shaped by your ACTIONS...not your words or even your intentions. ACTIONS = RESULTS
  11. Biz owner, STOP wasting time & talents on the WRONG type of work. Ask, "Would a successful CEO tackle such a task?"
  12. Business owner, implement today, perfect tomorrow. Taking action reveals answers & solutions.
  13. Spend MORE time w/ your BEST clients, prospects, referral sources & EMPs. Learn to differentiate; not all are equal.
  14. Business owner, want more time in your day? Create a NOT-TO-DO list. Delete, delegate, or outsource low-value tasks.
  15. Your goal as an entrepreneur is to develop a biz that can function without you making every decision, solving every problem.
  16. To advance your biz, face reality about what's NOT WORKING. Accept the truth & then get busy fixing what's broken.
  17. Entrepreneurs are separated into 2 groups... not the "haves and have-nots", but the "wills and will-nots".
  18. To make more $, learn to solve more problems for more customers. Get leverage in your biz.
  19. Business coaching is like a GPS for your biz...confidently helping U get to your destination faster & with fewer detours.
  20. Want to know what U currently value in life? Look at your calendar system & checkbook...shows U where U spend your time and $.
  21. As a business owner, what 3 habits would you like to change before year end to improve your effectiveness & biz results?
  22. What clutter (low-value & unimportant tasks) needs to be removed from your biz life? It's stealing your time & profits.
  23. Small biz owner, you have to learn to work LESS in order to earn MORE. More thinking & delegating, less doing.
  24. Have U noticed? Successful entrepreneurs tend to create, unsuccessful ones tend to complain. R U a creator or complainer?
  25. Entrepreneur, your greatest competitor is between your ears...your limiting beliefs. Combat fears & doubt with ACTION.
  26. If U don't like your RESULTS, look at your ACTIONS. If U aren't taking enough right action, examine your BELIEFS & FEARS.
  27. SELLING made easy: build rapport, get information, give information, gain agreement. Don't over-complicate it!
  28. Entrepreneur, instead of trying to always be in CONTROL of your business, try to be in CHARGE. Much more liberating.
  29. Entrepreneur, focus 10% of your time on problems, 90% on the solutions. Focus on what U DO want, not on what U DON'T want.
  30. Entrepreneur, never forget, U are in the biz of MARKETING. That s/b your priority & mindset; not being a technician.
  31. A business only gets better when the people in the business get better. What R U doing to develop you & your people?
  32. Business owner, if U are blaming others for anything related to YOUR business, U are giving your power & control away.
  33. Entrepreneur, after any project, have truthful analysis: What worked? What didn't? What do we need to do differently next time?
