The New York Enterprise Report, a magazine dedicated to helping small and midsize businesses with practical solutions, approached me to respond to a reader's question for their February magazine. The question I was asked to answer in depth was as follows: "In order to stay competitive in this economic climate, I find I have less and less time and energy to be strategic because I'm spending more and more time putting out fires. How can I focus on being the strategic business owner I know the company needs when resources for operations are tight."
I believe my in-depth answer to that tough question is a perfect fit for this business coaching blog. Included in my response was a 4-step business coaching solution for this anonymous reader's question.
To read my business coaching answer, please visit The New York Enterprise Report and read the column entitled, "Ask the Expert: How Can I Focus on Being Strategic During Tight Economic Times?"
