What type of coaching or business experience do I need?
You need NO coaching and NO business ownership experience. Because of our proven and unique coaching system, only minimal business experience is necessary. Everything your clients will need is embedded in our proven, refined coaching process. We will teach you how to facilitate our structured process. However, 3-5 years of sales, marketing, management, teaching, HR, training, or professional services experience would be beneficial. However, relax. Everything you will need to know about operating your business will be provided through our extensive training program and on-going support. Again, you do not need to be a coach, public speaker, trainer, or business expert. You just need to have a passion for helping others.

How are we different from consultants or trainers?
We are business coaches, not consultants or trainers. We don't focus on symptoms; instead we focus on the real issues, problems and opportunities. Our approach is comprehensive and works on both critical dimensions - helping to improve both the owner (mindset, skills, habits and strategies) and the business.
Unlike consultants, we believe that small business owners are the experts – we don’t pretend to be. We do not tell them what to do or how to do it. Better than that, we empower them to solve their own challenges and seize their own opportunities. We ask the right questions to reveal the right answers. By guiding them through our proven process, we help them discover for themselves the strategic changes they need and want to make and then develop a focused action plan that is 100% customized for their situation. In the end, they buy into the plan and truly own the plan.
Additionally, we are not selling expensive projects that small business owners can not afford. Our coaching services, because they are offered in group format, are very effective and affordable for every small business client and profitable for our coaches.
Finally, we are not selling short-term projects or one-time training events but developing long-term relationships with our clients. Our services are provided on an on-going and year-round basis, sometimes the client relationships last more than a decade. Training tends to be event driven and the effects are temporary. Coaching is driven by an on-going coaching and accountability process that produces real and lasting changes and results.

Do CPAs and attorneys offer this type of service?
No. CPAs and attorneys tend to work as advisers offering specific technical advice (accounting, legal, tax) and are not trained to be business coaches. They tend to be very technical, detail oriented, and don't focus on the strategic growth opportunities for a business owner or self-employed professional. These professional advisers are not threatened by us and tend to be some of our best referral sources.

During your training, you will learn how to operate a successful coaching business and deliver our coaching process. Our initial training program provides you with:

It will help build your business into a trusted brand name in your local community and with potential clients, referral sources, business publications, trade groups, etc.
- How to schedule and facilitate on-going coaching workshops on a regular basis for the clients who participate in your program.
- How to deliver our coaching process for effective one-on-one coaching, tele-coaching, manager coaching, etc.
- How to form marketing alliances with companies like accounting firms, banks, law firms, business papers, reporters, trade groups, Chambers of Commerce and more.
