Dear Tim,

When we picked you to handle a stress relief class for our management Team, I had no idea we could expect as much as you provided. Our Team had been taxed in just about every emotional manner possible. The economic times that caused people to flock to us for help, including foreclosure prevention and lost jobs, had left our Team stressed out.

In our effort to get a handle on things, we decided to ask for some help and you were there for us. When we all met that morning, I wasn’t sure how it was going to work out for us. But as we got moving, you put us at ease, pointing out that we were not the minority and that lots of people are carrying stress. The biggest thing was to learn how to properly handle it.

You got us all involved, from the very beginning, opening doors that I thought would be very difficult. Once those doors opened, we spilled everything that was weighing us down. Not only did we get things out, but we began to see solutions on how to hold stress down and how to handle that which we have to deal with. When the meeting was over, our Team stayed around talking about how we could use each piece that you gave us and how it would fit our work days ahead. So many thoughts were flowing and what was really amazing was how it has been carried over into our normal workday. Some classes make a one day difference and it goes away. Your methods will be working to improve our days for a long time to come.

In addition, we are thinking of involving all of our 27 team members in the same type of training so we can all feel the difference and become more productive in a more “at ease” work day.
