As the former owner of Stowe Country Homes, Mary Beth spent the last 8 years building the largest full service vacation rental/property management agency in the Stowe area. Prior to that she owned numerous other small businesses; starting with Snowear, Inc., a knitwear company she began at the age of 21. Mary Beth went on to create two specialty retail shops in Burlington; one in the Champlain Mill and the other in the University Mall. After taking time off to raise her two daughters, Mary Beth returned to her home town of Stowe and bought Stowe Country Rentals in 1999; then a one person operation with 20 properties and sales of under $500,000 and built the existing business that now employs over 10 full time people, has numerous part time employees, manages over 200 properties and boasts sales in excess of $5 million.

Mary Beth has an extensive background in sales and marketing, business planning, systems and operations , leadership development and team building.

As an avid skiier ski racer as an adolesant, Mary Beth went on to become a PSIA Level 3 Ski Coach. She's worked at the Stowe Mtn Resort for over 25 years and has helped many people overcome their fears on the slopes as as the boardroom.
